Guava-Glazed Roast Chicken Drumsticks

Sweet spicy and smoky - you’ve gotta try this recipe. I used Robinson Guava Lava which made it easy to get tons of flavour quickly. Give it a try for yourself!!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken drumsticks

  • 1 tbsp Salt

  • 1 tbsp black Pepper

  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 2 tbsp Cajun Spice

  • 500 ml Robinson Sauce Guava Lava


Directions

  1. Rinse your chicken and put in a large bowl.

  2. Add the salt, pepper, mustard and cajun spice to the chicken and mix it together.

  3. Place the drumsticks on a tray and in the oven at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.

  4. Pull the chicken from the oven and glaze with half (250 ml) of the guava sauce. Put back glazed chicken back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes.

  5. Once they are cooked through, take them out of the oven and toss them with the remaining guava glaze.

I recommend serving them with mashes potatoes, but they would go well with rice or any other starch.
